yes, it's bank holiday in germany, too. we have perfect weather in munich, which is why one doesn't have to regret to have stayed in instead of leaving town for the mountains, a lake or the beach. even more, i felt something italian today - the sun, mediterranian feeling outside my kitchen window, the birds singing and the pizzeria under my flat ;-) ...
...friends in italy posting their vacation pictures from milano marittima or the versilia, where i always go to made me just a little envious.
and then, surfing in the www I discover a fashion blogger who lives in italy posting pictures of her weekend in forte dei marmi, where my aunt and i used to go for the best ice cream ever! such a beautiful place! it's always been the "chique" place of the versilia region where famous people, mostly italian soccer players and models, have their villas. even german designer thomas rath, currently in germany's next topmodel's jury, likes to go there ;-)
