at the moment many of us experience confusing statements in the job market of nowadays. for those who are looking for new challenges it is difficult. for the unemployed it is even harder.
in times of change, a time which maybe needs an economic revolution, it is maybe the companies that spread confusion around. they themselves seem not be quite sure about the strategies to follow nowadays. no wonder with the now seriously to be taken economic crisis. we feel that there is no space for risks anymore - or at least that's what seems to be in the minds of businessmen. on the other hand according to freeminded people it could be helpful to be more risky and refresh the company's philosophy with a possible win-win situation.
the new challenge for work seekers is therefore to present themselves according to the companies' philosophy more than ever before. at the same time, stay flexible for the changing efforts to improve the strategy.
this doesn't seem to be the time for people (already in a job) with ambitions to change into a new profession. while hearing from one side that you're not good or creative enough, the other company claims that you're too good or too creative for the wanted job. while in the past the focus was put on flexibility, interests/passion and the ability to learn fast no matter what graduation you have, now companies are heavily emphasizing academic qualifications according exactly to the job descriptions.
no wonder noone with mixed qualifications, at least in my generation, knows anymore which way to turn into. left or right? as an allrounder the straight forward path doesn't appear to be right...
I guess with all this confusion, the straight way can only be an option after having finished to experiment different economically uplifting methods with a new straight idea as a result.
but this seems a long way to go...
