what's the millenium's first decade best music?

today all radio stations take the new year's arriving as a chance to talk about the millenium's first decade best music. I don't know why, but the only band that comes into my mind at the moment is "one inch punch".

the song I like is "metaphysics" which I liked in the 90s. this band is nowhere to be found but on lastfm or their own website. even youtube only shows bruce lee's one inch punch, but not the band.

 It might be appreciated more by the boys than by the girls I know.

But why don't I recall any of the new bands? Is the music getting more and more mainstream? Am I stuck in the past? The only artists I can think of the past decade don't seem to be worth to be mentioned.

Maybe a punch in the face would awaken me...

Or maybe I am just listening to the wrong radio station.
