Do high expectations ...

... make life, or even your job, diffcult?
I am talking about the video shoot two weeks ago on a beautiful sunday whilst whole munich was busy with the opening weekend of the octoberfest. It didn't matter: First, not loving beer so much I am not an enthusiastic "Wiesn"-visitor, and second we finished just in time in the late afternoon to enjoy the last rays of sunshine ourselves. Satisfied from our what we believed good work, so-to-speak.
I got the videos last week, and I was slightly disappointed. That's the moment when I wonder if I had too high expectations or fantasizing too much, making the visual better in my brain, than it really is. ??
That I was physically there at the shoot!, giving (creative) directions!, makes my disappointment a bit odd.
I remember not being happy with one of the themes back then, but now I didn't like any of them?
In the end, it's the customer who has to be happy I've been told. As an indication of good work.
well, let's see...

By now all the videos are done. Perhaps it's the best thing to not be totally satisfied, because one maybe subconsciously tries to make it better.
For instance: It's stupendous how a good voice over can improve the look&feel!
The client is super-happy. And I am excited to see it on air!!
It will be on air on "sixx" from october, 4th on.

"... all women should have beautiful legs" ;-)
